Avon, CO – Avon police are still actively investigating an assault, robbery and burglary that occurred at Eaglebend Apartments last Saturday night. Officers and detectives continue to pursue all leads on the case.
There is no current specific threat or concern but the Avon Police Department would like to remind and encourage residents to remain alert in your neighborhood, particularly during nighttime hours. Report anything unusual or suspicious to the police. Please call 911 if you have a concern and do not attempt to contact or engage a suspicious person. For your safety, an Avon police officer will make any necessary contacts. As a common practice, please secure your property by locking all of the doors and windows to your homes and vehicles.
