DANCING IN THE PARK 

Avon Performance Pavilion in Harry A. Nottingham Park

August 9, 2017

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. 

The Festival welcomes Wonderbound in a free family-friendly show on the extraordinary stage of the Avon Performance Pavilion at Nottingham Park. Come early and enjoy Nottingham Park before the show, gates open at 4:30p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and commercially-sealed non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Hours of Event:        4:30 p.m. – 7:30p.m. 

Location:             Avon Performance Pavilion in Harry A. Nottingham Park

Parking:                      Free parking is available on-street and at the Mikaela Way and Recreation Center parking lots

Transportation:         Avon and Eco Transit will operate on schedule

 

 

TENTH MOUNTAIN STORYTELLERS STORY SLAM

Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

August 10, 2017  

8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

 

Enjoy this free event in the lobby of the Westin River Front Resort and Spa lobby. A story slam is friendly storytelling competition where you become the talent. Prepare a 3-5 minute story on the theme of LOST AND FOUND. If your story is the audience favorite you will win tickets to the Tenth Mountain Story Telling Festival August 18th and 19th at the Avon Performance Pavilion.

Hours of Event:        8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 

Location:             Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

Parking:                      Free parking is available on-street and at the Mikaela Way and Recreation Center parking lots as well as valet at the resort

POP UP STRINGS CONCERT

Possibility Plaza on the Main Street Mall

August 11, 2017  

5:15 – 6:45 p.m.

 

Enjoy this free concert with the Touch of Class String Quartet. Musicians from the Arapahoe Philharmonic, Colorado Chamber Orchestra and Denver Chamber Orchestra will perform selections from the great classical composers and more contemporary creators.  Food by Marc will be featuring wine and cheese pairing and other beverage and food offerings.

Hours of Event:        5:15 – 6:45 p.m. 

Location:             Possibility Plaza on the Main Street Mall; If it rains, the concert will move to the Skier Building

Parking:                      Free parking is available on-street and at the Mikaela Way and Recreation Center parking lots
