Section of Benchmark Road to Close for Construction

Avon, CO—Starting Thursday, July 29 a section of Benchmark Road immediately to the east of the Avon Recreation Center will be closed for construction. The Avon Heat Recovery project will require a full closure of Benchmark Road at the cross-walk behind the Recreation Center for approximately two weeks.

Benchmark Road access to the Library will remain unaffected from the south and access to the Seasons will be restricted to the north. There will not be any through-traffic on Benchmark Road during the closure. Pedestrian traffic will be accommodated south of the Library and Fire Station.
