The Egg Hunt returns to Harry A. Nottingham Park in Avon promising a fun-filled morning on Saturday, April 15th. Families are invited to participate in a Coloring Contest, Jelly Bean Guessing Game, Kids Mountain Bike Course, exhilarating inflatable features, Cowboy Clown Balloon Artist and a visit from the Avon Bunny!  But that's not all...thousands of eggs will be filled with toys and candy!

Tips for Enjoying the Egg Hunt
:

  • The Egg Hunt event is a Bully Free Zone and participants are expected to Be A Buddy Not A Bully!
  • The actual hunting of eggs will be organized by height. Please check in at the Town of Avon tent to have your child measured and receive a colored wristband to participate with other children of approximately the same height.
  • There will be three separate Egg Hunts in the Egg Hunt Arena; two for each height group for which participants will be identified by colored wristbands. Parents and/or taller siblings may not enter the Kids Corral or the Egg Hunt Arena.
  • The will be a special area for children 3 years of age and under with their very own bouncy house and Egg Hunt.  Parents may join their child in this area only.
  • To enter in the Coloring Contest please see the advertisement in the Vail Daily and/or Weekly publications. Use your imagination and color the ad, complete the information section at the bottom and bring it with you to the Egg Hunt. To enter, turn in your artwork at the Town of Avon tent. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative coloring by age group: 3 & Under; 4-5; 6-7 and 8-9.  One prize per age group.
  • There will be free Egg Hunt Tote Bags for participants while supplies last - limited supply.
  • Please be aware that some of the candy at the event may contain peanuts.
  • Parking is Available at the Following Locations:
        Avon Recreation Center
        Town Hall East Lot
        Avon Elementary School
        On Street Parking on Lake Street and W. Beaver Creek Blvd.
