Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Town of Avon Recreation Department.Volunteers are offered a one-year individual membership at the Avon Recreation Center in exchange for thirty (30) volunteer hours.Volunteers are recruited each winter (November-December) for the following year.

The main job of the volunteer staff is to assist the Special Events Supervisor with all aspects of special events.Volunteer duties can include:

• preparation before the event
• flyer/poster distribution
• set-up and tear down for an event
• maintenance of event resources
