Avon is getting ready for another great summer! Our top priority is the health and safety of our residents and visitors. This summer will offer all the same great outdoor recreation activities in Nottingham Park and the surrounding area along with some new twists, including local music concerts, temporary art displays, small scale community events and surprise and delight events that will be uniquely Avon in style. We love summer and can’t wait to share it with you in the Heart of the Valley!

“We’re all in this together” and YOU play an essential role in allowing events to take place in Avon this summer!

  1. No one may come to an event in Harry A. Nottingham Park if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, including cough, fever, muscle pain, or loss of taste or smell.
  2. Use of a facial covering is highly encouraged during ingress and egress and while moving in walkways.
  3. Do not attend an event if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive or who is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
  4. Maintain 6’ of distance from other individuals not in your household group.
  5. Maintain 12’ of distance from other sub-groups of individuals.
  6. Wash hands often.
  7. Persons with higher health risk are encouraged to not attend these public events.

The special events calendar is filled with community focused small gathering opportunities to pack a picnic, grab your family, enjoy the outdoors and splendor of Nottingham Park!  AvonLIVE! begins June 24th and we are thrilled to be reviving the Lakeside Cinema free family movies in the Park series and working on new traditions with SunsetLIVE!  The Events at a Glance provides the full line up of events sure to put a smile on your face!
