Avon's Bike Share Program

The Town partnered with Zagster, a company that specializes in providing municipal bike-sharing programs. These 'townie' bikes are meant to help residents and guests conveniently get around Avon to reach basic amenities. Zagster bikes are not meant for mountain biking or exercise, so please visit a local bike shop if you're interested in exploring for several hours. Twenty-five bikes are located at six locations around Avon:

  • Eaglebend Housing Complex
  • Avon Station
  • The Aspens Mobile Home Park
  • City Market
  • Nottingham Beach
  • Avon Recreation Center

These bikes are available on a first come, first serve basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Membership starts at just $10 per year. Riders can borrow bikes by the hour using their mobile device, and make quick stops with the on-bike locking system. Bikes can be returned to any Zagster location around Avon.
