Adult Leagues

There is no doubt that league sports are a fun way to get exercise and meet people. The Avon Recreation Center offers you the opportunity to participate in organized adult leagues and tournaments year-round. 

Our leagues are for people who want to participate in sports for physical fitness and fun in a social environment. Full teams and groups are welcome. Individuals and teams looking to get involved should contact the Programs Coordinator at (970) 748-4059 for information on leagues and schedules. Individual and group fees apply.

Winter Tournaments

5v5 Futsal Tournament: Saturday, December 2nd, 2023. 9:00am-4:00pm. Avon Elementary School Gymnasium.

4v4 Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball Tournament: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. 9:00am-4:00pm. Avon Elementary School Gymnasium.

2v2 Indoor Pickleball Tournament: Saturday, Saturday, March 30th, 2024. 10:00am-3:00pm. Avon Elementary School Gymnasium.

This one-day tournament will have a round robin bracket for seeding, followed by a single elimination playoff bracket. Round robin matches will be best of one, rally scoring, to 21. The playoff bracket will be side out scoring to 15, best of one. The championship match will be side out scoring to 15, best of three. This is a non-sanctioned event with ratings not considered. Indoor game balls will be provided. Ages 15 and up. Matches will be self-officiated; however, the rules may be found here.

Pickleball is a fun game for all abilities, combining tennis and ping-pong!

If you're looking to play but don't want to be tied down to a league, try Drop-In Basketball! Grab some friends and come shoot hoops at our weekly drop in basketball.
