Great job with the picnic! Way above my expectations as a first year participant. Keep up the great work! Food was great. The activities were good for team building across the other departments. Location was excellent. The awards were great. I have two suggestions. One is to offer coffee during the awards if it isn't too much of a challenge. Personally I'm not an afternoon coffee drinker but many of my team members could have used the energy boost. Second adding the Director of the Year award would free up an award for those front line employees to be recognized. *I can't take credit for this idea, another Avon employee shared that idea with me. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Keep up the great work! John McDade *4131

Really enjoyed the laid back vibe of the picnic this year. The activities being optional made for a truly enjoyable afternoon instead of forcing activities. I second the comment above regarding a "Director of the Year" and then some sort of hardworking/front line grinder award...Food at the picnic was excellent! I think next year's picnic should be very similar and maybe we add Stand Up Paddle boarding as an option for recreation.

Yes, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing picnic. Agreed, the activities were so much better this year and weren't forced on anyone, it was totally optional. The food was superb. Spending quality time with co-workers excellent. I think the longevity awards could be done as a group instead of one by one just to save some time. The awards get to be pretty lengthy after a while. Also agree with a Director of the Year award as well. This was the best picnic I've attended.

I enjoyed the relaxed pace and excellent food this year. Maybe the awards can be given out during during lunch time, which will leave more time to play and mingle afterward, and more time to clean up as well. While a director of the year is a nice idea, doesn't this group already receive excellent compensation for their high performance? How about a division of the year instead?

I liked the activities better this year, and the option to not participate. Serving food closer to noon was also appreciated. I do think that the awards need to be shortened and condensed and second the suggestion of group awards. Let us spend that extra time having fun instead. Next year maybe lake activities (water polo) or softball?

I enjoyed everything about this year's picnic. Great job! The food was amazing and the games were fun and relaxing. It was good to see everyone let loose and enjoy themselves. Awards were a bit lengthy but overall it was a very nice day.

Awesome food and game playing. Maybe add a trivia comp for teams. Consider changing to Wednesday so most employees can join in - right now many have Friday off. Close Rec Center for the afternoon. Ask other agencies to cover for police. Maybe Supervisor of the Year versus director. I like the idea of grouping tenure awards maybe through 10 years, then individual. Write a press release to announce the winners to the community.
