    A great way to meet players that are of your skill level and have fun competitive games.  Games are timed and those games are won only when the 10-minute buzzer rings. At the buzzer, the team with the most points moves toward the "Kings and Queen Court" while the team with the least points moves in the opposite direction. Teams do not need to win by two points; these are win-by-one-point events.  Pre-registraion is required.

Town of Avon staff provide lifeguards and setup a .25 mile/400 meter (approximate) triangle course set up on the south side of the lake. Check in by the boat dock and log cabin located at the southeast shore of Nottingham Lake. Driving directions: Exit I-70 at 167, go southbound on Avon Road, head west (right) at West Benchmark Blvd (third roundabout). The road will end in the parking area for the cabin.     The Town of Avon is proud to present our 17th Annual Dunk-N-Dash Aquathlon Series. Athletes can register for one event or for the entire series. Swimmers in the Dunk-N-Dash can opt to make one or two 800-meter loops around Nottingham Lake. The 5K run starts and finishes at the Avon Performance Pavilion. The route runs north around Nottingham Lake, follows the path to Avon Elementary, and turns onto the scenic river recreation path. One of the few high-altitude tournaments of its kind, the event draws participants from around the country to compete while taking in the gorgeous Vail landscape and all the activities the area has to offer. A number of the games are played in Avon's Harry A. Nottingham Park.
