Mikaela Way and Avon Town Hall Asphalt Overlay Project Construction

Mikaela Way and Avon Town Hall Asphalt Overlay Project Construction

Construction of the Mikaela Way and Avon Town Hall Asphalt Overlay Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 20th. The Project generally consists of concrete curb and sidewalk replacement in select areas and asphalt paving along the length of Mikaela Way and in the Avon Town Hall parking lot.

Access to Avon Town Hall, the Sheraton, and the Avon Public Library will be maintained. The Project will require temporary lane and parking lot closures during construction and traffic control will be in place.
Parking on Mikaela Way adjacent to the Avon Public Library and in the Avon Town Hall parking lot will not be available on Thursday, September 23rd. Parking on September 23rd is available on Benchmark Road, Lake Street, and at the Avon Recreation Center. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are asked to please remain patient and to allow additional travel time.
Work will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Project will take approximately four weeks to complete and is being constructed by 360 Paving, LLC on behalf of the Town.
Please contact Jim Horsley with the Town of Avon Engineering Department at or 748-4134 with questions regarding this work.
