Amy,
a Minnesota native and life-long skier, moved to the Vail Valley in 1985 as the
Food and Beverage Director of a boutique hotel in Vail Village. In 1993 Amy and
her husband Bill purchased a home in Avon where they live to this day. She
worked until 2003 as a division head for several companies in the Vail &
Beaver Creek hospitality industry. In 2003, Amy turned her energies to her
community by planning events for many Vail area non-profit organizations
including; Taste of Vail, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Bravo! Vail and Big Beers,
Belgians and Barley Wine. Amy served her community as an elected Councilor for
the Town of Avon from 2004 - 2012. In 2013, Amy earned her Real Estate License
and now works for herself and her clients buying and selling properties
throughout the Valley. Knowing Avon and the valley from all perspectives, she
is excited to return to the Avon Town Council.
